MODULUS OF ELASTICITY (OR) YOUNG’S MODULUS

          The ratio of Tensile stress to the corresponding strain (or) Compressive stress to the corresponding strain is a constant.

          This ratio is known as Modulus of Elasticity (or) Young's Modulus and is denoted by ‘E’.
